The Truth Before Thought

I know that you sometimes hurt yourself with your thinking. You think that this thinking is justified, given whatever you think is happening in your circumstances. And often, you are right.

Except, you might be oblivious to the possibility that these circumstances are also a part of your thinking, rather than outside of them.

Given this possibility, there are two directions we can take in transformative coaching.

We can demonstrate to you how your thinking is nonsensical, seeing which you will hopefully allow yourself to let go of this hurtful thinking and rest in your true nature.

Or we can point directly to your true nature (through a felt experience of presence) and have your thinking dissolve in the good feelings you experience as you touch this presence within yourself.

Either way, what you end up with is the experiential sensation of how good it feels to simply be yourself. Not whatever you think yourself to be. But yourself before you start thinking at all. To simply experience your capacity for being alive and conscious.

From this place, a few things happen consistently.

Firstly, an increase in your capacity for thought-recognition. To recognize when you are dealing with your thinking about reality as opposed to reality itself. You will learn to appreciate that there is a world beyond the world of your thinking, before the world of your thinking comes into form.

Secondly, you realize that you can think anything. And that depending on what you think, you will have feelings that are progressively desirable or undesirable to you. This gives you access to a real-time feedback mechanism that will help you in exercising your capacity for thought-recognition more effortlessly.

Thirdly, that you need not go after anything to experience wholeness, mental health, joy, peace and beauty, given that you experience these as your natural and default state.

Fourthly, that you can go after whatever you desire, knowing that you are living in a reality that is continuously being co-created through Thought.

If all this sounds too good to be true, I invite you to consider the possibility of it being actually true and notice how it feels for you.

Your intuition will know if I am bullshitting or if this rings true somewhere within you. If you find within yourself hope instead of dismissal, then you know it is time.

Awakening is the most enjoyable and effortless phenomenon. Most of the effort is in trying too hard to be someone we think we should be, rather than simply being.

And you will always know by the quality and desirability of your emotional state whether you are simply being yourself or not.
