If you can stay in real solitude - not merely unmoved by the external world, not even with your own thoughts and feelings.
But beyond the influence of any distractions of the internal world too, in the form of
loneliness, despair, restless desire, ambition, arrogance and pride - then you have achieved mastery over yourself.
Once you have reached this, once you have seen who you are deep inside, both these worlds become
puppets in your play.
