Being an Awakened Leader

To be an Awakened Leader is to face the unknown again and again. It is the endeavor to source from the unknown repeatedly – not just as a defensive reaction to circumstances, but as a pure creative act.

It is an act of profound intellectual humility, the recognition that relying on what is previously known is a limitation, rather than a strength. It is the practice of holding the unknown without imposing familiar frameworks and insisting that reality fit into them.

The conditioned mind attempts to solve the known with more of the known. But Awakened Leadership is the willingness to tackle the known with the unknown, and to tackle the unknown with the completely unknowable. It is being with the tension of the unknown without resistance, until it naturally transforms into a new insight and knowing. It is the willingness to meet the unmapped reality of the future with an unmapped state of mind.

The joy and contentment one seeks is found precisely in this rhythm of knowing and creating.

To live a life of wonder, surprise and spontaneity, of aliveness, freedom, and joy, is to stand firmly at this threshold. It is to be with the feeling of inspiration, of the unknown flowing through you – and with it a raw sense of possibility and potential.

In here is a clear, felt sense of each moment serving as an end in itself. To hold creative sovereignty, the experience of being completely unbound by time.

To know oneself, and to possess the privilege of accessing this state at will is the ultimate leverage. In it is the capacity to stand at the absolute edge of your own certainty, unbound by precedent. It leaves one with a profound reverence for their own unclouded perception.
